In 2017, the Papillon Ditte Dot Com was close to being euthanized due to tumors in her abdominal cavity and abnormalities in her organs.
However, after she began receiving an extract from a medicinal mushroom, her condition reversed completely, and both the tumors and the organ abnormalities disappeared. Later, a liver tumor appeared, which also disappeared after a change in dosage.
This was based on an American pilot study in which dogs with splenic hemangiosarcoma were given an extract from a medicinal mushroom with remarkably good results.
Ditte Dot Com, who has been diagnosed with mammary gland cancer, has not received conventional treatment, but has been given medicinal mushrooms for nearly 10 years. The extracts have been adapted to her needs and given in significantly high doses compared to her small body weight. Daily records have been kept of her dosage and condition throughout the years.
