Ditte Dot Com
Ditte Dot Com is a clever, little Papillon dog with a great personality and a strong will. From day one she has been good at communicating what she wants, and what she doesn’t want, but at the same time she is a very cooperative dog.
She is now 18 years old (as of September 4, 2026).
She is commonly called “Ditte” and got her name “Ditte Dot Com”, because she was already called “Dot” when I got her (as an 11-week-old puppy). And I wanted her to be called Ditte. It was therefore obvious to call her: Ditte Dot Com! And it also fits very well after she got her own website.
This website is about Ditte’s illness with previous tumors in the abdominal cavity, changes in the ovaries and mesentery, and the previously greatly enlarged spleen with changes in this as well – and the remarkable positive results that occurred after she was given extract of the medicinal mushroom Turkey Tail (Coriolus Versicolor) with vitamin C added in an attempt to increase the absorption of the mushroom’s active ingredients.
Furthermore, the website is about the subsequent liver tumor that occurred, which at its largest measured 2.8 x 3.5 cm, but which disappeared after increasing Ditte’s dose of medicinal mushrooms and resuming the addition of vitamin C. The website describes the dose of medicinal mushrooms that Ditte received during the course of the liver tumor, based on her body weight during that period.
As Ditte has reached an advanced age, which requires further efforts, the composition and dosage of the medicinal mushrooms have been continuously adjusted and adapted to her needs in the recent years, and vitamins and dietary supplements with extracts from plants and herbs have been supplemented.
Throughout the entire course, I have kept daily records of what she has been given and when.
Ditte has not received chemotherapy, radiation therapy or Prednisone, etc.
The website contains descriptions of my own observations and references to research, books and publicity of medicinal mushrooms, I am inspired by Link.
Based on my experience, I have listed the points of what I consider important in relation to the dose and intake of medicinal mushrooms Link.
I do not sell medicinal mushrooms or any herbal medicine. I’m only a consumer and therefore have no financial profit by sharing my experience – nor by linking to the products I give to Ditte. The only reason, why I have chosen to link to the products, is to document exactly what she has been given, so there is no doubt about it, in the event that Ditte’s case history hopefully will lead to interest in initiating more research into medicinal mushrooms.
I thus share my experience, because I hope Ditte’s positive story:
